a follow-up to io - charlie - metaphor Great… this is fun! – Charlie (Charlie Munford @) Yes it is! –i’m enjoying this process! intro Overall, yes I can accept your definition of metaphor as a subset of all arbitrarily produced abstractions…the abstractions that say something important or useful for minds aiming to understand the world. But I think I disagree that there is anything universal about such truths, simply because I think minds are almost infinitely diverse, all the way down to true minds in single cells (and there are single-celled organisms, gut microbiota, in our minds)....

All phenomena are (composed, and composable) composition – composition includes relative structural arrangement 1. What it is that is arranged, are other phenomena – relative priors, become constituents: Sub-atomics (will skip past to avoid distraction for now) Atoms (composed sub-atomics) Molecules (composed atoms) Repeat for: cells, organisms, ideas, language, behaviour, food, etc - Everything for intuition, think food recipes – a recipe instructs us how to prepare and arrange ingredients (relative phenomenal priors, later constituents) to achieve a desired structurally arranged composition...

Consider: approximately all universal phenomena as composition of interrelated constituents; whereby constituent is ancestral (exited prior), and also a composition (recursive, plural, back to t~0 of the universe) Consider: constituent interrelation describes relative structural arrangement, which in turn instructs patterns (or profile) of conditional behaviour (more is different), such that “relative relation instructs circumstantially evaluated conditional behaviour” Consider: more is different instructs patterns (or profile) of conditional behaviour, by shaping inherited patterns (or profiles) of conditional behaviour from ancestral constituents {continue; discontinue; redirect; transform}; and that in addition to the inheritance and propagation of behaviour, descendent phenomena inherit and propagate implicit constraints, on “the space of all possible legal or stable forms, and behaviours”, circumstantially evaluated....
